The Last of Us Set video reveals near-accurate scene from the game

A brand new behind-the-scenes video from the set of HBO’s upcoming post-apocalyptic horror drama The last of us has surfaced online ahead of its debut next year. The last of us The set video that surfaced over the weekend, which you can check out below, gives us a fresh look at Pedro Pascal’s Joel and Bella Ramsey’s Ellie as they shoot a near-accurate scene from the game.

The scene in question shows Ellie walking through a small grate and opening a door for Joel in the chapter in the sewers when the two are with Henry and Sam, which was also revealed in a recent batch of set photos. It’s not exactly the same scene, but there are a few similar elements.

The last of us The series will address the events of the first game with the possibility of additional content based on the upcoming video game sequel. It is intended to be led by The iron Throne alums Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
“The live-action series is set 20 years after the destruction of modern civilization,” reads the synopsis. “Joel and Ellie, a couple bonded by the harshness of the world they live in, are forced to endure brutal circumstances and ruthless killers on a trek through post-pandemic America.”
Alongside Pascal and Ramsey, Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) like Tommy Miller, Nico Parker (Dumbo) as Joel’s daughter, Sarah, Anna Torv (spirit hunter) as Tess and Merle Dandridge (The stewardess) as she reprises her role in the video games as Marlene, the leader of a resistance group known as the Fireflies. It also features Jeffrey Pierce (Bosch) as Perry, Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) as Frank, Con O’Neill (Chernobyl) as Bill, and Storm Reid (Euphoria) as Riley.

The live-action series is produced and co-written by Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and original game writer Neil Druckmann, who is also one of the directors. It is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television in association with PlayStation Productions. Executive producers are Carolyn Strauss, Naughty Dog President Evan Wells and Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan of PlayStation Productions.
