PS5 roguelike Returnal is less than two months old but already $ 20 off Amazon for Prime Day – its lowest price yet. At its core, Returnal is a hellish roguelike about survival and (hopefully) escape from an alien planet. You play as Selene, who finds herself trapped on the mysterious metamorphosed planet after a forced landing. And I mean completely trapped – not even death can free Selene, as she finds herself at the start of her journey whenever she dies. But by mastering the procedurally generated challenges, racking up small but significant permanent improvements, and gathering the bizarre messages built into the planet, you can go a little deeper with each run.

Returnal is a challenging, weird, and beautiful game brimming with more alien quirks and neon projectiles than you could ever count in a thousand lifetimes.
