Arrest warrant issued for suspect in Manchester suspicious death

A warrant has been issued for a woman charged with the death of a Manchester man, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and the Manchester Police Department announced early Saturday morning. Stephanie Beard, 34, has was charged with second-degree murder for causing the death of John Glennon, 71, who was found dead Friday morning inside the Carpenter Center apartment complex on Franklin Street, investigators said. Investigators believe Glennon was killed early in the morning and had been stabbed in the head with a knife. A spokesperson for the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office would not comment to WMUR on any relationship between Glennon and Beard. Investigators said Beard was also charged with theft by unauthorized taking for stealing Glennon’s silver Subaru Impreza and was last seen heading south on Route 293 in the Manchester area driving this vehicle. .Beard is described as white, 5’2″ tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Investigators said she has multiple tattoos, including a Sonic the Hedgehog character and “Sonic” Elijah on her left hand , a star on his left shoulder, a star and heart on his chest, and a Tinkerbell figure on his back. Investigators said Beard should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call his local police department or 911. Investigators have asked anyone with information about Glennon’s death or who had contact with Beard to call Manchester Police at 603-668-8711 and talk to the detective division.
